The Currency Exchange Office of F.lli Barsanti & C. s.n.c., located in Pisa, Piazza Duomo 6, in its capacity as a financial intermediary on behalf of the Bank of Italy, collects data directly from its customers and processes it using manual and/or computerized tools for the execution of transactions, ensuring their security and confidentiality. 

This processing follows the methods of collection and retention provided by Law No. 197/1991 and subsequent amendments and additions (anti-money laundering legislation) and for the purposes related to the obligations established by the same anti-money laundering law.

The provision of personal data is necessary for the provision of the service; refusal to respond will result in the impossibility of carrying out the transaction. Pursuant to Article 8, 2nd paragraph, letter a of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, the rights provided for in Article 7 (Right of access to personal data and other rights) cannot be exercised by the data subject by requesting the data controller or the data processor or by resorting to the provisions of Article 145 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 when the processing is carried out in accordance with the provisions of anti-money laundering legislation.

Pursuant to Article 24, letter a of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, the consent of the data subject is not required when the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation
